How To Build a Dripcoin System

A Dripcoin System holds water you’ve salvaged, to be used later.

In its most basic form it is a watering can left by your kitchen sink. In its most sophisticated form it collects every bit of water around your property, stores and filters it for home use. Many of these systems need building permits, and rightly so! Water is powerful and it truly “goes where it wants”. The last thing you want is for water to escape into your neighbor’s property causing erosion and other horrible damage!

I will show you how to build three types of systems, each varying in degrees of complexity and cost. Each one has been highly successful for me, and REALLY FUN!

DIY: Build-Your-Own Dripcoin Systems

  1. Simple
  2. Enhanced
  3. Automatic

That’s why cities have codes for water runoff..  downspouts and gutters are carefully directed into the main sewer system, water cleaned and returned to a natural setting.

When “running the tap” to warm up the water or rinsing lettuce, instead of letting it go down the drain, catch it! You can use it later to water your plants.

A far more sophisticated Dripcoin System collects rainfall from your roof, funnels it into a storage tank, and is hooked up to your drip irrigation system.

There are even more powerful and useful systems used around the world which connect beautiful filters to the system, creating potable water for home use. To be clear, this is NOT my goal.
